Thorsten Sattler-Lägel is a passionate engineer and highly motivated when it comes to solving detailed technical issues. After completing his studies, he joined Robert Bosch GmbH in 1998, where he was responsible for technology projects in the field of injection molding technology and injection molding simulation and took on consulting activities in the technology group's operational business. In 2003, he initially managed projects at Reinz Dichtungs GmbH (application for cylinder head covers and oil separators) and then worked as a key account manager for large automotive groups with acquisition activities in Germany and abroad.
He has been associated with Sattler GmbH since 2008, where he initially took over the technical sales management. In 2013 he was appointed Managing Director and since 2019 he has held significant shares in the GmbH as Managing Partner. It is a constant concern of his to meet his customers not only as a trading partner, but also as a competent procurement service provider for elastomer and plastics applications. The technical know-how that is bundled in Sattler GmbH enables the company to offer not only standard parts, but also sophisticated, tailor-made customer solutions.
Thorsten Sattler-Lägel shares his knowledge with interested parties both in technical articles and in seminars on the subject of plastics / elastomers (rubber, caoutchouc).
In his free time, he relaxes in nature and when he is not training for the next marathon, he also appreciates good food and a nice glass of wine.
