Insulating Elements

Navigationspfeil

What are insulation elements?

Insulation elements are mats made of rubber or foam that serve to dampen sound. They are often produced in large sheets and can thus be cut to fit during installation. They can complete penetrations for openings on site in the same way. For fastening, the mats can have a self-adhesive side, but it is also possible to use screws. Insulation elements are available in different colors.

What are insulation elements needed for?

Insulation elements are used to attenuate machine noise and are therefore attached directly to the enclosures concerned or to walls. They contribute an important part to the prevention of accidents by reducing noise emissions. You will therefore often encounter damping elements at

  • Motors
  • Production cabins in the industry
  • Shot peening machines

In which industries are insulation elements used?

Industrial plants often harbor many sources of noise due to loud production machines. Insulation elements are ideal for reducing noise emissions because they are quick and easy to install and can be cut to size individually. Users are therefore for example

  • companies that perform surface hardening on workpieces
  • the construction industry
  • general mechanical and plant engineering
